What do I do?answers 1:No teeth cracking. Only thing that might happen is if when you had your braces put on, one was loose. It could come out, but not always. The first time I had my braces I had a really loose tooth, but they were careful, and it didn't come out. Don't worry. It will feel really weird though, cause you will be able to actually feel your teeth again. You will be thinking " Wow! I actually had teeth under those metal things all this time" lol If you are still concerned, ask your orthodontist, or the n! urse lady/man to try to be careful when pulling off your brackets. An extraction usually costs around $200. Call your dentist and ask if you could do a payment plan. As long as you are paying on your bill it should be fine. If you are up front and honest about your money issues I'm sure they would be willing to work with you. DO NOT take a tooth out yourself. That is VERY dangerous to do! I also wouldn't go to the ER because of the high cost. Trust me, give a call to the dentist and talk to them. If it is not in your area, welfare has a list that shows the dentists in your surrounding area. As for transportation, try the bus or taxi, friend or family member, ! some dental offices have transportation services for you. You ! have to find a way to go to the dentist no matter what, if you don't go, you will get an infection that will end up in your blood stream and then your in big trouble. I work in a dental office and I have seen people that have come in with their faces swollen and their necks swollen from infection. These patients were referred to the ER. You must find a way to take care of this. In the mean time, and I don't normally suggest this but it sounds like you don't have much money, if you have a candle, take some of the wax and fill in the hole or cover the open portion of the tooth so no food, liquid or air can reach the nerve. This is only a temporary fix, you need to go to the dentist. On many occasions people have pulled out a tooth, and then the gum gets infected which spreads to the other teeth, and then it spread! s across your face resulting in having half a swollen face.
