Destination Weddings?

Lashawn Zabarkes: I am currently planning one in Florida, along the beach near Melbourne. I had no problem booking airfare, hotels and a church but I havent gotten into the finer details yet so we'll see. I've heard the Dominican Republic is cheap as well.

Cherry Stampka: All I know is my best friends daughter is having a destination wedding in Mexico the first part of May and I would love to have gone, but frankly, I simply can't afford it. Between the airfare and lodging, it's just out of the questions for me.

Oren Eskelsen: i would just go to a beach, maybe florida, then when you get back have a huge reception, with lots of gifts!

Charis Deguzman: Check out Sandels resorts they do all the planning and their web site can give you all the prices down to the penny even if you are just looking. They have quite a few different places. Also if you search for stuff about Key West they have many places that do destination weddings. Good Luck and Congrats! !!

Marita Stadick: this is exactly what i am doing. i decided on St. thomas cause its pretty and the island is not as expensive as somewhere like st kitts or grand cayman. look on www.tripadvisor.com for reviews of resorts.the planning it looked like would be easy to do via email. i found my wedding location first then figured out where we should stay. have not come up with a budget yet as we have not told our parents yet. yikes!

Lynn Mctier: Yeah...we plan to take 4 or 6 people with us (depending on the cost). We will also be having a reception for everyone, upon our return.

Shon Almquist: Florida beaches are a great destination! However, be sure to check the weather http://www.weather.com before you set a date. Usually, between December - May is the best time as the weather is usually pleasant here. Keep in mind (not many ppl are aware of this) that hurricane season runs from June 1 - November 30th & that's our rainy season as well.

Alden Sa! bio: not sure what your budget is but I heard about 'wedding p! ackages' for places like the Dominican Republic...... that could be an option, you don't plan on having a big wedding....

Claudio Drullard: i am planning one.. its not til 09 though!! but a girl i work with her & her husband did the sandals thing.. they went to jamiaca.. it was beautiful.. i seen some of her pics.. just their closest friends and family and then they got a discount on their honeymoon b/c thats where they had it!!! i am not sure how much though i felt uncomfortable on asking b/c she was a nursing student at that time.. but we are trying the same thing my parents really like cruises!!! but i seen that royal carribean thing though with that women that lost her husband. but my parents have been on 5 cruises and they are going on there 6th in Dec. But i live in FL. soi was thinking something intimate on the beach, its a friday night in Oct., Good Luck...Show more
